Erode district registrar on the occasion of the centenary of Tamil Nadu former chief minister Karunanidhi. K. Sapling planting ceremony as per Ashokan's advice was held at the Perundurai registrar's office.
The event was attended by the Registrar General G.V. Ravichandran, the chairman of Perundurai municipality OCV Rajendran, Karumandisellipalayam Municipality Chairman K.C. Selvam, Vice President Shanmugam planted saplings. Gayatri welcomed everyone. Palavi Paramasivan, the former president of Perundurai Municipal Council presided over and gave the congratulatory address. Perundurai District Registration Office was established in 1865 and is 160 years old and includes Erode. He also said that it functioned as a deed office. M. MacDonald also noted that he was the Inspector General of Deeds at the time.
The event was attended by deed clerks, office workers, real estate owners and public.
