40th Annual Day Function of Kongu Engineering College (KEC) was held at Kongu Convention Centre, KEC on 27.03.2024 by 03.00 pm.
Thiru. Rajesh Ramachandran, Global Digital Officer & Managing Director, ABB Process Automation, ABB Ltd., Switzerland was the Chief Guest of the function. During his speech, he explained the worldwide job opportunities and how to get equipped technically. Also, he proudly appreciated the teaching learning process and infrastructure in KEC. Col.R.Viswanathan, Corps of EME, Indian Army was the guest of Honour.
Dr.V.Balusamy, Principal, KEC presented the annual report for the academic year 2023-24. Various awards were given to the students, members of faculty and Non-teaching staff who excelled in studies, sports, research project, research grant, industrial consultancy, paper publication in reputed journals and new patents. One sovereign gold coins with cash awards were given to the overall best outgoing students of the college. Department wise best outgoing students, best faculty were awarded with gold coins and cash awards for their outstanding performance. This function was live streamed in the institute website.
