International Women's Day Celebration at Arachalur Navarasam Women's College Women's Day was celebrated in collaboration with Navarasam Women's College and Erode Malabar Gold & Diamonds. The function was presided over by the president of the college, TK Damodaran, the secretary of the college, K. Senthilkumar, and the treasurer, C. Palaniswami, gave the opening address.
Modakurichi Assembly Member Dr. CK Saraswathi was the special guest on the occasion. Awarded shields to best students. In his keynote address, he said, "Students should be patient, work hard for success, walk towards ambition. Respect parents, keep in mind what professors say in college. If we live like this, everyone can become lionesses who touch the peaks."
Dr. Dhanapakyam Kandasamy, President of Sudha Hospital, Erode, was the guest of honour. He mentioned in his review "I got married at a young age and studied and became a doctor with the encouragement given by my mother-in-law. Today I have risen to become the chief executive of Sudha Hospital in Erode. If you study you can reach a high position. If you keep studying you can achieve success in life. Education is the first step to all success."
Ambigapathi Viswanathan, president of Vadugapatti Municipal Council, was the chief guest. In his comment, he said, "Thank you to all the men who celebrate women all over the world on Women's Day by putting them on stage and uplifting them in the society."
Following this, a special medical camp was organized by Erode The Eye Foundation. This medical camp was organized by Ophthalmology Consultant Dr. Shakti Rajalakshmi along with her team conducted well. 1500 students, professors and office workers benefited by participating in the medical camp.

At the end of the ceremony, there was a feast for the eyes of the female students. 42 shields were awarded to the female students of Navrasat who have achieved achievements at the Bharatiyar University level.
