The record for the maximum nurses donating hair for cancer patients was set by the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) - Tamil Nadu Branch in commemoration of International Nurses' Day 2024.The TNAI-TN branch under the leadership of Dr. S. Anigrace Kalaimathi, President, and the Executive members are very vibrant in planning and implementing various activities in the state of Tamil Nadu for the benefit of the nurses and nursing students. One of these activities was the creation of an Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records entitled “Maximum number of nurses donated hair for cancer patients”, from various zones.
