Space science camp to be held for 2 days at Sankarankovil, Tenkasi district. The camp is conducted by Voice of Tenkasi Foundation. students of class 6 to 12 can participate in this camp. This is the first ever space science camp to be held in Tenkasi.
Anandan Ayyasami, Founder of Voice of Tenkasi Foundation, issued a press release regarding the first Space Science Camp as follow : Questions and Wonders about space are abound. Space researches are going on to find answers to all the questions. In the Ever – Changing world of technology it is must for the young generation to know about the space. So we have organized a space science camp to benefit our Tenkasi district students. Through this camp students can learn about space science and get answers to their doubts about space.
The camp will be held on 30th September and 1st October at AVK International School campus in Sankarankovil. Students of class 6 to 12 can participate in this. Reservations are required to participate in the camp. One can register through www.voiceoftenkasi.org/events website. Also students need to send a 1 min video about space science to 8778200402 number. The first 200 registered participants will be allowed to the camp.
Space researchers, teachers and trainers are participating in this camp to benefit the young space enthusiasts and answering the doubts of the students. Dr. Muthukumar and Lenin from the Tirunelveli District Science Center will explain the phenomenon of seeing planets at night through a telescope. Dr. Subbiah Pandian explains about Astrophysics, Vinnarasu provides information on Ice Break and Dr. Muthuswamy explains on Bird Watching. Students are invited to make use of this opportunity and learn about space.
