Youth and Science Festival Organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra – Certificates and Medals Awarded to Winners

In an initiative aimed at youth development, the "Mera Bharat" Youth and Science Festival, organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, was conducted at Periyar College, Trichy. The district-level event was presided over by Nehru Yuva Kendra District Youth Officer, Ms. Shruthi.


The program commenced with welcome speeches delivered by key dignitaries, including Assistant Director of the Central Public Relations Department, Mr. Devi Padmanabhan; Regional Coordinator of the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Anna University, Mr. Kumaraguruparan; Bharathidasan University NSS Coordinator, Mr. Ramajayam; and Youth Red Cross Coordinator, Mr. Gunasekaran.


More than 200 students from various colleges participated in the event, which aimed to encourage new innovations for India and foster the intellectual capabilities of students. The festival focused on topics like safeguarding the nation's environment and strengthening the vision of “Mera Bharat” as an inspiring ideal.


The science exhibition showcased over ten creative projects. Students participated enthusiastically in various competitions, including debate, dance, and poetry. Certificates and medals were awarded to the winners of these events and contributors to the exhibition.


This vibrant gathering not only celebrated the talents of the youth but also emphasized their role in advancing India’s scientific and environmental goals.
