Free Bicycle Distribution Event for Learning Center Students in Sivagangai District

An event to distribute free bicycles to students from the Learning Center at M. Kovilpatti, near Singampunari in Sivagangai district, was recently held.


The Indian Development Organization, through the Eureka Aid India Program, operates in villages such as Piranmalai, Gopalapacheri, Kalapur, M. Kovilpatti, and Mathurapuri. The organization focuses on providing sports training for girls and creative learning opportunities in science and math through interactive games for school children.


As part of this initiative, bicycles and educational scholarships were distributed to students from classes 9 to 12. The event was presided over by Sumathi, the Project Director of Aid India. Key dignitaries in attendance included Coordinator Rajapandian, former headmistresses Selvasundari, Eshwari, and R. Kowsalya, and Dr. S.S. Maniyan.


Singampunari Union Councilor Umasonayan distributed the bicycles and delivered a special address. The event was coordinated by Manimegalai, Aid India Project Coordinator, alongside Singampunari P. Sobhana, E. Sobhna, Karpagam, and Eureka teachers and volunteers.


The event commenced with a welcome address by V. Nivedhitha and concluded with a vote of thanks by Menaka. Students, teachers, and community members actively participated, making the program a success.
