National Institute of Technology Puducherry has celebrated the 76th Republic day on 26.01.2025 in the campus premise at 8.00 AM. Dr. Makarand Madhao Ghangrekar, Director, NIT Puducherry hoisted the National flag, and received the guard of honor from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) students of NIT Puducherry and Security Guards.
Dr. Makarand Madhao Ghangrekar, Director, NIT Puducherry in his speech, described about the importance of sovereign republic and the achievements of Indians with pride. He also highlighted the significance of Republic Day and the purpose of celebrating republic day. In this function, students’ cultural events were also conducted.
Dr. S. Sundaravarathan (Registrar), Faculty, Staff and Students of NIT Puducherry were participated in the event. At the end of the function sweets were distributed.
