Nova IVF Fertility (NIF), Trichy, is organizing a Walkathon for Infertility Awareness on March 22nd at 7 AM, starting from the Nova IVF Fertility Center in Trichy. The event aims to educate the public about infertility and emphasize the need for both men and women to seek timely medical help. Approximately 100 participants are expected to take part in this initiative.

Dr. Priyadharshini Mohanasundaram, Fertility Specialist at Nova IVF Fertility, Trichy, highlighted that male infertility is increasing, now accounting for 50-60% of cases. "Many men assume infertility is primarily a female issue, but we are seeing a significant rise in male factor infertility. The most common issues include abnormal sperm and lifestyle-related factors like smoking and alcohol consumption," she explained.
