As part of the Pre-GST Day celebrations, the Chennai Outer Commissionerate of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), in association with the Fit India Movement, organized a Cyclothon on the theme #SundaysOnCycle to promote health, fitness, and environmental consciousness.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 147 cyclists, comprising officers, staff members, and fitness enthusiasts. The Cyclothon was flagged off by Shri Naseer Khan, Commissioner, Chennai Outer Commissionerate, from Anna Adarsh College. The route covered a symbolic and energetic journey to the Central Revenue Quarters and concluded at the Headquarters of Chennai Outer Commissionerate.
This initiative aligns with the dual objectives of commemorating the upcoming GST Day and encouraging a healthier lifestyle under the banner of the Fit India Movement. The event successfully brought together the spirit of national duty and physical well-being.
