TNAU hosted “Sunday On Cycle 2025” Promoting Health and Community Spirit

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute (AEC&RI), Coimbatore, successfully hosted the “Sunday On Cycle 2025” event on Sunday, 4th May 2025, as part of the nationwide Fit India Cycling Sundays initiative. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 150 students, embracing the message of health, sustainability, and community bonding.


The cycling rally was held in the gracious presence and the dynamic leadership of Prof. A. Raviraj, Dean, AEC&RI, Coimbatore. The event aimed to promote fitness, eco-friendly transport, and holistic well-being among the student community.


Faculty coordinators and students from various clubs, including the Food Club, Eco Club, Rotaract Club and MasonAGE Club, played a vital role in organizing the event. Around 150 Participants pedaled with enthusiasm through the campus, spreading awareness about physical fitness and environmental responsibility. The event concluded with motivational messages and a renewed sense of unity and purpose among the students and faculty.


“Sunday On Cycle 2025 was not just a fitness activity but a celebration of togetherness and responsible living,” said Prof. A. Raviraj, Dean, AEC&RI.


The event stood as a testament to the power of youth-led initiatives in promoting national movements like Fit India, blending physical wellness with social consciousness.
