CRI Solar Secures ₹210 Crore Orders for 6,894 Pumping Systems

CRI Solar, a division of CRI Pumps and a leader in renewable energy water solutions, has secured major orders worth ₹210 crores from Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), and Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA). 


The orders cover supply, installation, and commissioning of 6,894 solar pumping systems. This collaboration supports sustainable irrigation infrastructure across India’s agricultural regions and strengthens government efforts in renewable energy and agricultural productivity.Project deployment will begin as per the timelines set by the agencies, leveraging CRI Solar’s expertise in large-scale solar water pumping projects. 


Mr. G. Soundararajan, Chairman of CRI Group, commented on this milestone, emphasizing CRI’s commitment to clean, reliable, and sustainable water access for rural India. He highlighted the projects’ role in promoting rural prosperity, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility. 


CRI Pumps has already commissioned over 181,000 solar pumping systems across India, featuring IoT-enabled smart solutions. These initiatives have led to energy savings exceeding 6,100 million kWh and reduced CO₂ emissions by over 4.80 million tons, demonstrating CRI’s leadership in environmental stewardship.
