Fertility enhancing endoscopic surgeries CMC held at Meenakshi Mission Hospital on 31.05.25. Couple need medical help if they do not conceive after one year of trying for pregnancy without using any contraception. While there are many reasons why a woman does not conceive, some of the problems like fibroids, endometriosis chocholate cyst in ovaries, adenomyosis, uterine abnormalities like septum, polyp etc can be treated by laparoscopy and or hysteroscopic surgeries improving the chances of normal conception or after IVF procedures.

With endoscopic procedures patients undergo keyhole surgeries and have a faster recovery and better perpared for pregnancy

Experts from TNIAGE (Tamilnadu Chapter of Indian Associaton of Gynaec Endoscopists) and MOGS (Madurai Obstetric and Gynaecological Society) participeted as faculty. The meeting was hosted by the IMA, Meenakshi Branch and Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Reasearch Centre.

The faculty were Dr.Rekha Kurian, Dr.Gayathiri M M, Dr.S.Padma, Dr.Gnana Sankar Natesan, Dr.Malaraj, Dr.Priya Lakshmanan, Dr.Vyjayanthi, Dr.P.Daphin, Dr.C.Shanthi, Dr.Hema Sivakumar and Dr.Lakshmi Subburaj Nearly 150 delegates registered for the CME.
