Continuing its efforts to promote safer road habits through structured training, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) celebrated the 06th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The event was conducted in the august presence of Mr. Mohammed Rafi (Traffic Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trichy) and representatives from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. Since its inception, the park has played a pivotal role in promoting road safety and enhancing traffic awareness among citizens.

In June 2019, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) in association with Tiruchirappalli Traffic Police inaugurated the Traffic Training Park in Tiruchirappalli. Since its inception, the park has trained over 2.1 lakh people across all age groups- including school and college students, new riders and daily commuters. Designed to offer both theoretical and practical learning, the park provides an engaging space where participants can understand traffic rules, recognise road risks, and adopt responsible riding practices.

To mark the 6th year anniversary, HMSI hosted a comprehensive training session for the students of M.I.E.T. Engineering College. The event witnessed engagement of around 140 participants and included modules on Safety Riding Theory, Danger Prediction Training, Riding Trainer session, a segment on Female Safety Riding and a practical demonstration to showcase safe riding techniques in real-world conditions. The Traffic Training Park continues to engage learners with hands-on learning experiences that encourage responsible behaviour on the road.

As the Traffic Training Park in Tiruchirappalli enters its 07th year, HMSI remains focussed on enhancing the scope and reach of its road safety initiatives through such dedicated learning platforms. With structured modules that address the changing needs of road users, the Traffic Training Park continues to serve as a consistent touchpoint for interactive learning. By engaging with students, professionals, and first-time riders, the park aims to build a steady and sustained understanding of safe road behaviour. The company will continue to drive awareness through ongoing sessions at the park, ensuring that road safety education remains accessible and relevant for all.
