Apollo Cradle & Children’s Hospital, Karapakkam, Chennai, has launched its new fertility preservation initiative titled ‘Now 4 Future’. This pioneering campaign supports couples who wish to plan their second child later in life, by preserving eggs, sperm, or embryos during peak reproductive years – retaining quality for up to 20 years. The initiative aims to remove the pressure of age-related fertility decline and provide families with flexibility and peace of mind.
Dr. Janani Iyer, Senior Consultant – Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Reproductive Medicine, said, “Today, many couples choose to have just one child initially, but often return for a second, influenced by the older child’s desire for a sibling. With age becoming a challenge, preserving embryos early offers hope and certainty for a second child later.”
Dr. G.R. Dhivyambigai, Consultant Fertility Specialist, added, “Modern lifestyles often lead couples to delay parenthood due to career or financial priorities. Technologies like gamete and embryo freezing enable them to preserve fertility and plan when the time feels right.”
The ‘Now 4 Future’ package includes ovum aspiration, ICSI, embryo cryopreservation, and five years of safe storage, along with flexible EMI options. With medical support from Apollo Cradle’s multidisciplinary fertility team, this campaign offers a compassionate and medically sound pathway for future-ready parenthood.
