The Chancellor Dr. K.Sridharan presided ."Founder 's Dream becoming true slowly as University achieves 28th place in India in NIRF ranking : Still can achieve top ten rank by the Team efforts of Professors, Office Staffs and Students." Chancellor addressed.
The Pro Chancellor Dr . Arivazagi Sridharan, Vice Presidents Dr.S.Shasi Anand, S.Arjun Kalasalingam, the Vice Chancellor Dr S.Narayanan and the Registrar Dr V.Vasudevan felicitated.

The Vice President Dr.Shasi Anand recalled the Founder 's Life at Chennai, started from post office work to builders and then started kalasalingam group of Institutions." Founder treated all equal and all works will be equally difficult ", The VP also said.
The Chancellor distributed Medals and certificates to284 students who took first, second, third rank in semester examinations in all departments. Chancellor and VP presented the the Research Incentive Cash awards to 169 Staffs in various departments for the total thirty three lacks rupees.
