As India positions itself as a global hub for energy storage and e-mobility, Informa Markets in India is set to launch the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI) alongside the 18th Renewable Energy India (REI) from October 30th to November 1st, 2025, at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The event comes amid a booming India Lithium-ion Battery Market, valued at USD 2.54 billion in 2023 and projected to reach USD 6.92 billion by 2030.
TBSI 2025 will feature 350+ exhibitors, 400+ brands, and participants from Japan, USA, Korea, Taiwan, and China, showcasing technologies across the battery and storage value chain, from raw materials to complete solutions. Supported by the Department of Science & Technology and Ministry of Heavy Industries, top exhibitors include Semco, Thermofisher, PNT Korea, Rubamin, Altmin, Encore, Tex Technology, and CBC Corporation.
Ahead of the expo, an Industry Roundtable on October 16th, 2025, in Chennai brought together leaders such as Ms. Shipra Sinha (Light Mechanics), Mr. C. Narsimhan (Raasi Group), Mr. Chethan Srinivasa (IPG Photonics), Mr. Shanmugam (Touch Energies), Mr. Aji Philip (Dürr India), Mr. Anil Kumar (NASH Energy), and Mr. Rajneesh Khattar (Informa Markets).
Discussions highlighted Tamil Nadu’s role in EV and electronics manufacturing, strengthening supply chains, and driving clean mobility. With over 2 million EVs sold in 2024 and lithium-ion battery demand projected to reach 600 GWh by 2030, government incentives, rising fuel prices, and environmental awareness are accelerating adoption.
The three-day exhibition will host 20,000+ visitors, 100+ expert speakers, and live Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) displays for industrial, residential, and utility applications. Chennai is emerging as a national EV hub, with plans for 500 new charging stations, port electrification, and strong manufacturing infrastructure. TBSI 2025 provides a platform for global experts, technology innovators, and project developers to explore opportunities, collaborate, and shape India’s sustainable mobility and energy storage ecosystem.
