Launched in 2012, PGPBM is a 21-month MBA programme designed for working professionals, enabling them to enhance their managerial and leadership capabilities without taking a career break. The programme combines academic rigour with practical learning through case discussions, simulations, peer interaction and a capstone industry project.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli, said: “At IIM Tiruchirappalli, we believe that leadership is a journey of continuous learning. The PGPBM provides working professionals with an opportunity to enhance their managerial capabilities and earn an MBA of international standards, through in-person weekend interactions with our faculty, without taking a break from their careers.”
Applications are open to professionals with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of full-time work experience. Professionals from diverse sectors, including corporate, public sector, and entrepreneurial backgrounds, are encouraged to apply. Reservation norms of Government of India are applicable for the programme.
IIM Tiruchirappalli, an autonomous institute under Ministry of Education, Government of India, is internationally accredited by AMBA (Association of MBAs, UK) and ranked 16th in the NIRF 2025 Management Category.
