Adding to the festive cheer, Kia India, one of the country’s leading mass premium carmakers, has expanded its CarensClavis EV lineup with the launch of two new trims, HTX E and HTX E [ER], priced at ₹19.99 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
Kia’s first made-in-India electric vehicle, the CarensClavis EV, has received a strong response from Indian customers, especially urban families and young professionals looking for a stylish, feature-rich, and high-performance electric vehicle. Based on valuable customer feedback, the new trims have been introduced to offer greater choice, comfort, and features.
Positioned between the HTK+ and HTX variants, the HTX E trim comes with a 42 kWh battery pack, while the HTX E [ER] features a 51.4 kWh battery pack. Along with the features of the HTK+ trim, the new variants add a panoramic sunroof, LED lamps for all three rows, ECM room mirror, wireless charger, two-tone steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, and auto up/down power windows. Inside, premium touches include leatherette seats, seat back folding tables, air purifier with virus protection, multi-color mood lighting, and solar glass, ensuring enhanced comfort and sophistication.

The CarensClavis EV continues to combine practicality with performance. Powered by 99 kW and 126 kW motors delivering 255 Nm torque, it offers a smooth driving experience with dual battery options 51.4 kWh (490 km range) and 42 kWh (404 km range) and supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes. Safety remains a key focus, with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HAC), and 18 advanced safety features. The vehicle also includes a 67.62 cm (26.62”) dual panoramic display and 90 connected car features for a seamless and connected driving experience.
