The Tamil Nadu Association of Training and Placement Officers (TNATPO®) proudly announces a landmark achievement — becoming the first association to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with StartupTN, Government of Tamil Nadu.

This strategic collaboration aims to empower students and institutions across Tamil Nadu by advancing initiatives in internships, placements, startup outreach, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It marks a major step in bridging the gap between academia, industry, and government to build a robust talent and startup ecosystem.

The MoU was signed in the gracious presence of Dr. J. Jeyaranjan, Vice Chairman, State Planning Commission, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Thiru. Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director & CEO, StartupTN.

The event brought together prominent industry leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from India and overseas, transforming the occasion into a global platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

“This partnership marks a transformative milestone in connecting academic talent with entrepreneurial ecosystems — creating meaningful opportunities for youth across the state,” said Dr. Ganesh Krish, President, Tamil Nadu Association of Training and Placement Officers (TNATPO).

He extended heartfelt gratitude to the StartupTN team and the Hon’ble Minister for their visionary leadership and continued support.

TNATPO also proudly extended its active collaboration and institutional participation in the Tamil Nadu Global Startup Summit 2025, reinforcing its commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth through collective efforts among academia, startups, and industry networks.
