The Sangam 5 World Tamil Entrepreneurs Conference organized by The Rise in Madurai began with the Global Tamil Jallikattu event at Alanganallur. The Jallikattu competition was inaugurated by TN Minister for Commercial taxes and Registration Mr. P. Moorthy by waving the green flag. A total of 750 bulls and 250 players enthusiastically participated, taming the bulls and won prizes.
The Rise was founded in 2016 with the objective of bringing together Tamils living across the world on a single platform. The first conference was held in Madurai. Subsequently, The Rise World Tamil Entrepreneurs Conference was successfully conducted in several countries, and now, as its 16th edition, the The Rise International Conference is once again being held in Madurai.
This World Tamil Entrepreneurs Conference, held under the title “The Rise – Sangam 5: Maa Madurai 2026,” commenced in a grand manner with the Alanganallur Jallikattu competition. The Global Tamil Jallikattu event took place at the Alanganallur Dr. Kalaignar Jallikattu Arena. The competition, organized by the Sangam 5 Conference Committee.
The event was attended by The Rise Global founder Father Jegath Kaspar Raj, President of the Tamil Nadu Trade and Commerce Association Jegatheesan, Tamil Nadu Jallikattu Federation President P. Raja Sekaran, The Rise Jallikattu Wing General Secretary Balaguru, The Rise South Zone Director Paris Mahendravell, The Rise Madurai President Patanjali Saravanan, and spectators from 55 countries across the world.
The The Rise – Sangam 5 World Tamil Entrepreneurs Conference will be held until January 11. More than 2,000 Tamil entrepreneurs from across the globe have arrived in Madurai to participate in this conference.
