Abdiel Ryan Victor Cholan, the four-year-old son of Selvin Donald Victor and Christine Shiromini Victor from Batticaloa district, Sri Lanka, has achieved a remarkable world record and earned widespread appreciation. He began developing reading and writing habits at the age of three under the guidance of his mother. Recognizing his exceptional speed in writing, his parents prepared him for a world record attempt.
Subsequently, the organizers contacted the Cholan World Record Book organization to officially register his talent as a world record. The attempt took place at Thiru Irudayanathar Hall in Irudayapuram, Batticaloa, in the presence of officials including Deputy Secretary Kathiravan Inbarasa, District President Sivarathakaran, District Secretary Solaiyuran A. Dhanuskaran, and Executive Committee Member and poet A. Dhanushkaran.
During the attempt, Abdiel Ryan Victor successfully wrote 200 English words consisting of three and four letters within eight minutes, thereby creating a new world record. After evaluation by the panel of judges, the achievement was officially recognized and recorded.
The event was attended by Chief Guest Rev. Fr. R.A. Julian of Thandavanveli Holy Offering Mother Church. Special guests included Rev. Fr. Merushan Henric, Vice Principal of St. Michael’s College, and P. Selvaraj, Vice President of the Batticaloa Tamil Sangam. The programme was compered by teacher C. Sudheswaran.
