In the Vasudevanallur Assembly constituency of Tenkasi district, Ananthan Ayyasamy has been announced as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate representing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the 2026 Legislative Assembly elections. Following this announcement, BJP cadres and youth in Tenkasi district have expressed happiness and are gearing up for an energetic campaign.
In a statement expressing gratitude to the leaders for giving him the opportunity to contest from Vasudevanallur, Tenkasi District BJP President Ananthan Ayyasamy said that he feels honored to be chosen as the BJP candidate from the Vasudevanallur constituency under the strong NDA alliance led by the AIADMK.
He extended his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Piyush Goyal, as well as BJP State President Nainar Nagendran, former State President Annamalai, and other senior leaders and party functionaries for providing him this opportunity.
