BJP candidate Ananthan Ayyasamy, during his election campaign in Vasudevanallur Assembly constituency, assured that he would prioritize the development of the constituency and welfare schemes if elected.
He stated that he would work with a strong focus on improving infrastructure and implementing development initiatives for the region.
The campaign began at 7 a.m. in Vazhavanthaalpuram and continued through several villages including Varagunaramapuram, Velayuthapuram, Perumalpatti, Maangudi, Solaiseri, Tharisukulam, Vijayarangapuram, Vadamalapuram, Gopalapuram, Pandhapuli, Rettipatti, Senthattiyapuram, Etcherry, Paruvakkudi, Kothanachiyapuram, Pachchimedunagar, and Palavannanathapuram.
In the afternoon, the campaign covered areas such as Rengasamuthiram, Subbulapuram, Sankaralingapuram, Keezh Vayali, Melavayali, Chennikulam, Subbulapuram Colony, Subramaniapuram, and Ilakkiyapuram, where he interacted directly with voters and sought support.
Speaking during the campaign, Ananthan Ayyasamy highlighted several key promises, including a permanent solution to the Senbagavalli Dam irrigation issue, construction of 30,000 “Modi Houses” within three years, financial assistance of up to ₹25 lakh for eligible entrepreneurs to start new businesses, provision of clean drinking water to all households, free government job training centers for youth, and 24-hour free ambulance services.
He reiterated his commitment to prioritizing the development of Vasudevanallur.
A large number of local residents and youth participated in the campaign and extended a warm welcome, expressing their support for the candidate.
