CoinDCX, India's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has launched ‘Satark Rahe’, a social-first cyber safety awareness campaign in collaboration with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The initiative was unveiled on Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas, observed on the first Wednesday of every month to promote cyber awareness and safe digital practices across the country.
The campaign is an extension of CoinDCX’s Digital Suraksha Network (DSN), a ₹100 crore initiative aimed at combating digital financial fraud and strengthening cybersecurity awareness among Indian citizens.
Designed to educate users about common online scams, ‘Satark Rahe’ uses simple storytelling and relatable real-life situations to make cyber safety information more accessible and engaging. The campaign revolves around a central character, Satark, who helps audiences recognize, understand, and respond to digital fraud attempts through conversational social media content.
Shri Nishant Kumar, Director, I4C, Ministry of Home Affairs, said cybercriminals are constantly adopting sophisticated methods to target unsuspecting individuals. He noted that I4C has consistently promoted cyber hygiene through initiatives such as CyberDost and welcomed collaborative efforts like ‘Satark Rahe’ to expand the reach of cyber safety messages.
Commenting on the initiative, Sumit Gupta, Co-Founder of CoinDCX, said awareness remains one of the most effective tools against digital fraud. He emphasized the importance of government-industry collaboration in educating citizens and building a cyber-aware nation.
The campaign’s key message, “Brake Lagao,” encourages individuals to pause, verify, and confirm the authenticity of messages, requests, and transactions before taking action.
