Flipkart has launched EV Assist, a digital marketplace aimed at making electric vehicle (EV) adoption easier for its delivery partners. Currently available across more than 20 cities, the platform helps delivery executives discover and access EV rental options based on their city and budget preferences. The initiative is part of Flipkart’s EV100 commitment to electrify its last-mile delivery fleet, which has more than doubled over the past year and crossed 20,000 vehicles during the 2025 festive season.

According to a Flipkart study involving over 6,000 delivery partners, 46% expressed willingness to switch to electric mobility. The study also found that nearly 90% of surveyed delivery partners spend between ₹2,000 and ₹5,000 per month on petrol. EV Assist seeks to address key barriers to adoption, including affordability, access to rental options, financing challenges and charging infrastructure concerns.

Commenting on the launch, Rajneesh Kumar, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Flipkart Group, said, “India’s transition to electric mobility depends on making EV adoption simple and affordable for millions. Through EV Assist, we are creating practical pathways for delivery partners to switch to electric vehicles while supporting a more sustainable logistics ecosystem. This initiative reinforces Flipkart’s long-term commitment to achieving 100% electric mobility across its last-mile operations by 2030.”
