Roppen Transportation Services Private Limited (Rapido), India's largest and most affordable mobility platform, has partnered with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) to drive nationwide awareness of the Government of India's Rahveer Scheme, which encourages citizens to assist road accident victims during the critical Golden Hour. The collaboration was launched in the presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon'ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, senior Ministry officials, and Aravind Sanka, Co-Founder, Rapido.


Speaking at the event, Shri Nitin Gadkari emphasized the importance of citizen participation in improving road safety and appreciated Rapido's efforts to leverage its captain community and technology platform to support the national initiative. Aravind Sanka noted that the partnership reflects Rapido's commitment to promoting road safety and responsible action during emergencies.


Marking the launch of the collaboration, over 4 lakh Rapido Captains from across the country collectively took the Rahveer Pledge through the Rapido platform, creating a Guinness World Record and demonstrating their commitment towards promoting road safety, responsible citizenship and timely support for accident victims. Through its presence across 400+ cities, Rapido will further drive awareness about the Rahveer Scheme through digital engagement, in-app education, social media campaigns and on-ground outreach initiatives.
