Revenue Grievance Redressal Camp Held at Athoor Taluk Office

A Revenue Grievance Redressal (Jamabandhi) camp for Fasli Year 1435 was conducted at the Athoor Taluk Office, where petitions from residents of Chinnalapatti Revenue Village and surrounding areas were received and resolved.


The camp was presided over by Shajahan, Additional Personal Assistant (Land) to the District Collector and Deputy Collector, who received petitions from the public and provided solutions to their grievances.


As part of the Fasli 1435 Revenue Settlement proceedings, Jamabandhi sessions are being conducted in all ten taluk offices of Dindigul district from June 17 to June 25. The session for the Chinnalapatti Firka under Athoor Taluk was held on June 19 under the leadership of Shajahan.


Residents from Chinnalapatti Town Panchayat and villages falling under eight Village Administrative Offices, including Ambathurai, Keelakottai, Kalikkampatti, Alamarathupatti, Pillayarnatham, Munnilaikottai, Thoppampatti, and N. Panchampatti, participated in the camp. They submitted petitions related to patta transfer, employment, land survey, legal heir certificates, family cards, community certificates, income certificates, residence certificates, and other public service requests.


Shajahan and Athoor Tahsildar Muthumurugan reviewed petitions that had been digitally registered and provided immediate resolutions wherever possible. In certain cases, officials conducted field inspections and inquiries before taking action.


More than 200 petitions were received from the public during the concluding Jamabandhi session.


Among those who attended were Chinnalapatti Town Panchayat Executive Officer Ilavarasi, Zonal Deputy Tahsildar Praveena, Headquarters Deputy Tahsildar Vijayakumar, Election Division Revenue Officer Moorthy, Chinnalapatti Revenue Inspector Victor, Village Administrative Officers Jayalakshmi, Vijayalakshmi, Arivazhagan, Muthugamatchi, Saravanan, Rajalakshmi, Jahirabanu, Nirmala, Kalidas, Balasubramani, Govindaraj, Madhavan, and several village assistants and revenue department staff.
