The 41st installation ceremony of the office-bearers of the Arumuga Nagar Lions Club was held at a private marriage hall in Tiruppathur, Sivaganga district. The newly elected office-bearers were administered the oath of office by District Governor Arumugam.
The newly installed office-bearers are:

Treasurer: Er. Yousuf Riyas
Joint Treasurer: Er. Karthik Manikandan
The function was attended by First Vice District Governor Manikandan, Region Chairperson Lion Periyasamy, Zone Chairperson Plaza Rajeswari Sekar, directors, office-bearers, and members of the Arumuga Nagar Lions Club.
On the occasion, meritorious students who secured the first and second ranks in the Class 10 and Class 12 public examinations at their respective schools were honoured with cash incentives. The beneficiaries were students from Plaza Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Christu Raja Higher Secondary School, Arumugam Pillai Government Higher Secondary School, Arumugam Pillai Seethaiammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Baba Ameer Badusha Higher Secondary School, Nagappa Maruthappa Government Higher Secondary School, Thenmapattu High School, and Pudupatti High School.
As part of its community service initiatives, the Lions Club also extended several welfare measures. Through the contributions of Lion Rangasamy, Lion Durairaj, Lion Azhagu Kumar, Lion K. Raja, and Lion Sivasubramanian, six sacks of rice were donated to the Kandaramanickam Druba Old Age Home, the Vallalar Midday Meal Scheme, a residential school for children with disabilities, and the TELC School for the Visually Impaired.
In addition, Lion Plaza Sekar, Chairman of the Plaza Educational Group, presented ₹94,000 towards the educational fees of a deserving student.
Khan Mohamed, Deputy Chairman of the Tiruppathur Selection Grade Town Panchayat, donated clothes worth ₹5,000 to the Kandavarayanpatti Druba Old Age Home.
