The Tamil Nadu Government Employees’ Union, Erode District Branch, staged a protest at the Erode District Collectorate premises demanding the implementation of a new medical insurance scheme. The protesters urged the government to issue a revised order to ensure free medical treatment for government employees.
The demonstration was led by District Vice President Senthilnathan, with Vice Presidents Rocky Muthu and Gauri Shankar, and Joint Secretaries Saravana Mani, Sasikala, and Suresh taking part in the leadership. District Secretary Vijay Manoharan addressed the gathering and explained the demands in detail.
Slogans were raised to emphasize the union’s call for immediate action. The protest concluded with District Treasurer Sumathi delivering a vote of thanks. Several office-bearers and members of the Tamil Nadu Government Employees’ Union participated in the demonstration.
