Development achieved along with nature is permanent' said Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Forest, Environment Minister Pawan Kalyan. Our heritage is not just the buildings we built, but the nature we saved. 18 newly developed urban forests, eco parks and community based eco tourism projects in the state were inaugurated virtually from the Mangalagiri camp office on Wednesday. State ministers Anam Ramnarayana Reddy garu, Anagani Satyaprasad garu and Savitha garu participated in this program virtually.
On this occasion, Pawan Kalyan garu is speaking "In the present moment where cities and towns are expanding rapidly, these urban forests are working as green lungs for the cities.. Save the environmental balance. Along with the central government's 'Nagara Vana Yojana' funds, Rs. collecting local funds. We prepared this project with a huge expense of 36 crores. Each city forest in an area of about 50 hectares, Rs. Built with a cost of 2 crores. In Koduru, Kailasagiri, Madanapalle, specially red sandalwood protection parks have been arranged. To demonstrate our ancient culture and traditional knowledge, we have developed star forests and zodiac forests to protect biodiversity. These parks will not only provide greenery, but also become hubs for people’s physical and mental relaxation. This includes bird habitats, boating, kayaking, trekking points, yoga centers, open gyms and many more unique attractions.
