Dr. N. Jegatheesan, President of the Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been nominated as a member of the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) of Madurai International Airport.
The nomination was recommended by B. Manickam Tagore, Member of Parliament from Virudhunagar Constituency and Chairman of the Airport Advisory Committee, Madurai International Airport, through a letter dated August 25, 2026.
The nomination is seen as recognition of Dr. Jegatheesan’s sustained efforts towards promoting the economic and industrial development of Madurai and southern Tamil Nadu.
The Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed its gratitude to B. Manickam Tagore, MP from Virudhunagar and President of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, for recommending and facilitating the nomination.
