A mega blood donation camp was organised at the Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital to mark the 55th birthday of Pawan Kalyan, founder and president of the Jana Sena Party and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The camp was held under the leadership of Jana Sena Party Madurai district in-charge Ramkumar. Jana Sena Party youth wing functionaries Ramkumar, Mani, Stephen, Kalidas, Sundar and several other youngsters donated blood during the camp.
Speaking to reporters at the event, district in-charge Ramkumar said that the process of appointing various office-bearers for the Jana Sena Party was currently underway in Tamil Nadu. He said the party had resolved on the occasion of its founder Pawan Kalyan’s birthday to continuously raise its voice for the welfare of the Tamil people and create an opportunity for change.
Ramkumar also expressed his gratitude to the Dean of Government Rajaji Hospital and the Head of the Blood Bank Department for granting permission and extending support for the successful conduct of the blood donation camp.
Following the camp, special prayers were conducted at the Koodal Azhagar Perumal Temple in Madurai for the good health and well-being of Pawan Kalyan. Sweets were also distributed to devotees.
