Modern “Green Park” Beauty Salon Opens in Chinnalapatti

A new women’s beauty salon, “Green Park,” equipped with modern facilities, was inaugurated at Pooncholai in Chinnalapatti, Dindigul district. DMK Aathur East Union Secretary Pillaiyarnatham Murugesan attended the event as the special guest and inaugurated the salon by cutting the ribbon. Chinnalapatti Town Panchayat Chairperson Pradeepa Kanagaraj lit the traditional lamp and formally launched customer services.


The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Solairaj alias Raj, DMK councillor of Ward 15. Town DMK in-charge Balakrishnan, Jeeva Nagar Mariamman Temple President Rajapandi, Union Representative Thangapandi and former ward member Senduganeshan were present as guests of honour.


Salon owner Sugany​​a Raj welcomed the gathering.


Speaking on the occasion, DMK Aathur East Union Secretary Pillaiyarnatham Murugesan said the new salon would provide women with access to modern beauty and grooming facilities in Chinnalapatti.


Town Panchayat Chairperson Pradeepa Kanagaraj inaugurated customer services and appealed to women and college students in Chinnalapatti to make use of the modern facilities available at the salon.


Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi District Secretary Thandapani, former Town DMK Secretaries Arivazhagan and Mohanraj, CPI(M) Union Committee Member V.K. Murugan, traders’ association representative C.M. Pandian, Town Panchayat ward councillors Velvizhi, Rajathi Ramadas, Thamaraichelvi, Hema, Kamatchi, Shanthi, Amulraj and Jayakrishnan, Chinnalapatti Town DMK functionaries Thambithurai, Keerthana and several other political, business and community representatives attended the event. Residents from the Jeeva Nagar area also participated in large numbers.


Speaking about the salon, owner Suganya Raj said she had completed a course in cosmetology and had considerable experience in the field before starting the Green Park Beauty Salon at Pooncholai, Chinnalapatti.


She said the salon offers haircuts for women and children, bridal make-up and a range of beauty and grooming services for women, all provided with modern facilities. She added that the salon, being among the first in Chinnalapatti to offer such modern facilities, has been receiving considerable support from women in the area.
