Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, in collaboration with Department of Posts, Tamil Nadu Circle, on 18.05.2023 has launched the booking of temple Prasadams through web portal of HR & CE Department and despatch of Prasadams through Speed Post of Postal Department.
As per this scheme, the devotees, can book their requirement for temple Prasadams through online mode in HR & CE website www.hrce.tn.gov.in or through “ Thirukoil” mobile app for 48 temples in Tamil Nadu. The devotees have to fill in the relevant information regarding the details of the temple Prasadam, recipient’s address, required quantity and other details. Upon receiving the orders, Department of Posts will get the Prasadams from the temple authorities, despatch the Prasadams through Speed Post in secured envelopes /carton boxes and deliver the Prasadams at the doorstep of the devotees.
Under Chennai City Region, Prasadam Service is available for the following 11 temples.
