Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore & Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar on 15.05.2023 for facilitating Postgraduate Students’ Research through Sandwich / Twinning Programmes primarily foster Academic and Research Co-operation between the two different Institutions.
The Universities jointly agree to initiate exchange of students under Sandwich/Twinning Post-graduate degree programmes where candidates shall complete part of their degree programmes in one University and part in another.
The signing authorities Dr.R.TamizhVendan, Registrar, TNAU, Coimbatore, Dr.Sushil Kumar Gupta, Registrar, SKUAST, Jammu and Prof.T.H.Masoodi, Registrar, SKUAST, Kashmir signed the agreement, and exchanged in presence of Dr.V.Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore and Prof.Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST, Jammu & Kashmir where they remarked about the essentiality of this academic collaboration and the way forward.
From TNAU, Coimbatore, Dr.N.Senthil, Dean (School of Post Graduate Studies), Dr.N.VenkatesaPalanichamy, Dean (Agriculture), Dr.S.D.Sivakumar, Coordinator (IDP) and the other delegates from both the parties attended the signing ceremony and graced the occasion.
