Chennai Police and RLG India Join Hands to Promote Environmental and Social Awareness at AM Jain College Event

Chennai Police, in collaboration with RLG Systems India Private Limited, organized an impactful Anti-ragging, Anti-drug, and E-waste Awareness Program at AM Jain College, Chennai on 31 July. The event aimed to foster a sense of responsibility among the youth towards environmental preservation and promoting a drug-free and ragging-free society. 

Mr. S Murali, Assistant Commissioner of Police, St Thomas, Mount, Chennai was chief guest at the event. Mr. RK Parthasarathy, Inspector of Police, S-3 Meenambakkam, Chennai, and Mrs. K Fagumitha Kadahar, Greater Chennai Police, Kaaval Karangal, The Vision Trust, expressed their thoughts and emphasized the importance of such events in spreading awareness and preventing drug abuse and creating a safe campus environment for students. They were of the view that such events were essential in driving home the message of responsible behaviour, respect, and empathy.

The event concluded with 500 students taking a pledge to support the cause of raising E-waste and Anti-ragging awareness. Each guest was presented with mementos by AM Jain College to acknowledge their valuable contributions.
