Anti-Corruption and Vigilance Awareness Meeting held at Annai Fathima College

Anti-Corruption Awareness Week is observed from October 30th to November 5th every year.  On account of this, anti-bribery and vigilance awareness meeting was organised at Annai Fatima College of Arts and Science located in Tirumangalam as per the advice of college Chairman Mr. M. S. Sha, and Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Shakila Sha. 

Dr. Abdul Kadir, Principal of the college while inaugurating the awareness meeting said that corruption is a major obstacle to the economic, political and social progress of the country and the students who are likely to become government employees in the future should take a pledge not to accept bribes and never give bribes and support the development of the country.

Mr.Ambrose Jayaraj and Mrs. Suryakala, police inspectors of the Department of Vigilance and Anti-corruption, Madurai District attended and delivered an awareness speech among the students, highlighting some of the details of bribery cases and how government programs are affected due to receiving bribes.

Earlier, Mr. Tirupathi, Assistant Professor, Department of  Management Studies,  welcomed the gathering.  The program arrangements were made by Forensic Science Department Head, Prof.Srinivasan along with the students Ashwin, Karthikeyan, Zenita, Shobana, Rabia, Tharunnissa, Sri Jayalakshmi and the venue arrangements were made by Human Resource Manager Mohammad Fazil.
