HDFC Bank inaugurated their second batch of 100+ BC Agent Centres across India

India’s leading private bank, HDFC Bank has inaugurated a new batch of 100+ BC centers across many states in India. The move is in line with the Bank’s unwavering commitment towards financial inclusion and making banking accessible in the underserved regions of the country. 

These centres will function as a mini branch, with Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) assisting customers to avail banking products digitally. The VLEs, who are existing micro-entrepreneurs and are delivering Government-to-Consumer (G2C) services, now will additionally provide banking products and services to deeper geographies of the country. These centers were inaugurated in the presence of local Sarpanch, Gram Pradhan, Mukhiya, Panchayat Samiti members, War veterans, Principals of Schools/Colleges etc.

HDFC Bank’s has always been at the forefront of providing superior banking services to its customers. Its extensive network stood at 14902 BC centres, 7,945 branches, 20,596 ATMs, across 3,836 cities / towns nationwide as on September 30, 2023.  The introduction of the Business Correspondent Centres reinforces the bank's commitment to expanding its reach and catering to the diverse banking needs of an ever-growing rural customer base.
