Mini marathon competition in Vatthalakundu emphasizing pollution control

Dindigul district Vatthalakundu KP National Arts College held a mini marathon to emphasize pollution control On behalf of Vatthalakundu KP National Arts College and Dindigul District Sports Club, a marathon was held for a distance of 6 km. District Youth Welfare Sports Officer Kannan inaugurated the tournament. 

District Athletics Treasurer Durairaj, KP National College Secretary Bajadul Raghuman took the lead. More than 400 students participated in the competition. The marathon started at KP National Arts College, Wattalakundu, CSI School Kaliamman Temple Area, Dindigul Road, A-Brivu, Marathon runners reached KP National College via KP National College Road. 

Pathrinarayanan, a student of Velammal Matriculation School, won the first place in the competition. Veerabharathi from Velammal School got the second place. Samuel Inbaraj of Anukrag School bagged the third position. Later, the prize-giving ceremony was held at the KP National College campus. The marathon competition committee had made the arrangements under the leadership of Zafar Sadiq, the coordinator of the college. Many college teachers participated as sports education teachers.
