TN government's Vazhnthu Kattuvom project district executive officer Sathishkumar, officials Gokulnath, Kannan and Anandh offered technical and marketing assistance to nearly 100 women entrepreneurs under the TN Start Up awareness program held at Erode on Wednesday to promote their products.
This financial year, 145 women were given loan assistance of nearly Rs 5 cr including 30 percent subsidy. Another 45 women would get the aid before March. The Vazhnthu Kattuvom scheme is implemented in 77 villages in 5 blocks in the district to help women to become entrepreneurs.
