Vivekananda College organised Faculty Enrichment Programme

Vivekananda College, Tiruvedakam West, Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized ‘Faculty Enrichment Programme’ on 10th September, 2024 (Tuesday) in Audio Visual Hall at 10.00AM.   Dr. A. Satheesh Babu, IQAC Coordinator welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person and his achievements. 


The Principal, Dr.T.Venkatesan, Presided over and gave the presidential address.  In his address, he highlighted the components of the programme and quoted the Indian epic Mahabharat’s incident “An aimless life is always a miserable life”. The Resource Person, Sri. K.  Alpha Chinnaraja, Corporate HR Training with NLP Tools Virudhunagar delivered the topic on “Role of Faculty in Inculcating Life Skills among Students”. He enlightened the phrase “Bad habits should be nipped in the buds”. 


He insisted on the Smile and its significance, body language and its importance. In his speech he quoted “Thought Audit and Action Audit”, and also remembered the famous proverb ‘Anger brings ruin”  He   gave some drawing exercises to the staff members. During the programme professors practiced various forms of smiling exercise sitting and standing, which involves a series of physical postures.  The event helped us to feel confident and content physically and mentally.
