The VMLS-Surana & Surana Public Policy Competition 2024, organized by Vinayaka Mission's Law School (VMLS) in collaboration with Surana & Surana International Attorneys, concluded with resounding success. Centered around the theme “India as a Global Drone Hub by 2030: Opportunities and Challenges,” the event exemplified high-quality legal and policy discussions, reinforcing VMLS's standing in legal education. The competition began with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu and a formal welcome to the participants.
Teams presented their views under the careful guidance of the distinguished faculty. Notable dignitaries like Dr. Ananth Padmanabhan and Prof. Nabeela felicitated key guests, including Dr. Shiju and Ms. Sriya Sridhar. Ms. Sriya Sridhar delivered a captivating keynote speech, “Bridging the Gap: Law and Policy for a Just and Sustainable Future,” which emphasized the need to integrate legal frameworks with sustainable policy initiatives.Throughout the event, participants were evaluated based on their innovative approaches, and the judges commended the academic rigor displayed.
