In a heartwarming reunion, alumni of Arumugam Pillai Seethai Ammal College in Thiruppathur, Sivagangai district, gathered yesterday after 42 years to reminisce and reconnect with old memories.

Around 35 of the 60 students who studied commerce at the college between 1978 and 1981 attended the reunion. The alumni joyfully shared their experiences, reflected on their college days, and exchanged memories in a lively gathering.

Notable attendees included Anbuselvan, who served as District Collector in Chennai and Cuddalore districts before retiring, and Anbalagan, who is currently serving as the Vice Principal of the same college. The event also saw the participation of retirees from various professions, including banking, academia, private enterprises, and insurance sectors.

The alumni revisited their classrooms and other familiar spots on campus, cherishing the nostalgia. Kumarasamy, who was their professor during their college years, also joined the reunion, inquiring about the well-being of his former students and sharing in the joy of the occasion.
