Since 2014, the Olirum Erode Foundation has been offering vital support to patients with kidney disorders at the Father Periyar Government Headquarters Hospital in Erode district. With permission from district authorities, the foundation installed 16 hemodialysis machines and employed 23 dedicated staff, operating continuously for 11 years.
So far, 1,503 patients have benefited from 1,00,000 hemodialysis cycles, made possible through the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) and additional funding from the foundation.
To honor this incredible feat, a felicitation ceremony was organized under the leadership of M. Chinnasamy, President of the foundation. Distinguished guests included: Dr. S. Prabhakar I.A.S., Commissioner & Program Director, Irrigated Agriculture Modernization Project, S. Kandasamy I.A.S., Erode District Collector, Dr. S. Santhakumari, Joint Director of Public Health.
The event also saw appreciation from: Secretary S. Ganesan, Treasurer SKM. Sri Sivakumar, Welfare Committee President P. Viswanathan, Vice President S.P. Ravisankar, Members of the Welfare Committee, trustees, beneficiaries, and countless attendees.
