Teachers Are Like Second Parents: Prof. Abdul Kadir at Sri Sai Montessori Convocation

The graduation day of Sri Sai Montessori Teacher Training Institute, located on Madurai Vandiyur Road, was held at a private hotel. The institute’s director, Dr. Prabhakaran, delivered the welcome address. The managing director and principal, Mrs. Karthiyayini, while presenting the annual report, mentioned that 12 students have already got the placements and are working in various schools.


The chief guest, Dr. Abdul Kadir, professor and former principal of Wakf Board College,  delivered convocation address. He advised that teachers are like second parents to their students and should impart education with love and responsibility. Other guests, including Mrs. Kamatchi, Deputy Superintendent of Southern Railway Police, Mrs. Mukil, a mental health counselor from Ahana Hospital, and Dr. Chandran, former principal of Sivagangai Government Women’s Arts College, congratulated the graduating students. 


Subsequently, certificates were awarded to 15 students, including Apsana, Mubin, Kalaivani, and Selva Meena, who completed their teacher training during  2024-25 academic year. Around 200 people, including the parents of the graduates and the institute’s founding family, attended the event.


The arrangements for the ceremony were done excellently by a team of students of the current academic year, including Selva Kamatchi, Durga, and Nandini. Mrs. Varthini made master of ceremony. Student Ms. Dhiyaneswari proposed vote of thanks.
