The Indian Racing Festival (IRF) 2025 resumed with Round 2 at the Madras International Circuit, delivering intense racing on a rain-washed track.
Day 1 featured tight qualifying sessions and strategic, skill-based driving.
Shahan Ali Mohsin (Speed Demons Delhi) took pole for IRL Race 1 and converted it into a dominant win.
Teammate Alister Yoong jumped from P3 to P2 at the start, overtaking Aqil Alibhai (Chennai Turbo Riders).
While Mohsin built a lead, Yoong put up a strong defense under pressure.
In the final corner of the last lap, Alibhai launched a bold move, claiming P2 in a photo finish.
Yoong settled for P3, giving Speed Demons Delhi two drivers on the podium.
Shahan Ali Mohsin:
“I thank God. It feels great to be back on the podium. The team did a great job with the car, and Alister finishing P3 makes it even better.”

In Formula 4 Indian Championship, Sachel Rotge (Kichcha Kings Bengaluru) claimed victory after a late-race overtake.
Ghazi Motlekar impressed by charging from P10 to P2, while Annabel Kennedy took P3.
