The 38th Convocation Ceremony was held at Kalasalingam University, Srivilliputhur. The Chancellor Dr. K. Sridharan presided. Pro-Chancellor Dr. S. Arivazagi Sridharan, Vice- Dr. S. Sasi Anand, Vice-President S. Arjun Kalasalingam, Vice-Chancellor S. Narayanan, Registrar Dr. V. Vasudevan, Executive Council members were present.
In the annual report, the Vice-Chancellor described the high ranks obtained by the university last year, the achievements of students, and the research development of Professors.
3048 Undergraduate students in Engineering, Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Allied Health Sciences, Arts and Science, 470 Postgraduate students, and 34 Research PhD Scholars.
A total of 3552 students were awarded degrees by the Chief Guest , Mr. R.K. Ramachandran, Global Talent head, Kaar Technologies and Guest of honour, Mrs. S.K. Jayashree, CEO, Tech Mango. Medals, certificates, and degrees were also awarded to 128 Rank holders.
The Chief Guest In his convocation address said, “India will determine the growth of the world economy by 2030; all computer software, including agricultural software, will be manufactured in India and exported across the Globe”.
He also said that students should believe in themselves and the academic knowledge they have acquired. They should go within and discover new things, the Chief guest motivated and congratulated the students. The graduating students stood up and took the oath. Directors, deans, Heads of Departments, Parents, and Students participated in the ceremony.
The Professors of the convocation ceremony committee had made excellent arrangements for the ceremony.
