A Free Medical and Service Camp was successfully organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tenkasi District unit at Thiruvettanallur Panchayat Union in Vasudevanallur Assembly Constituency. The camp was inaugurated by BJP Tenkasi District President, Shri Ananthan Ayyasamy.

Hundreds of local residents benefitted from this large-scale initiative. The key beneficiaries included:

• General Medical Camp – 307 people

• Eye Care Camp – 108 people

• Referred for Free Cataract Surgery – 66 people

• Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) Health Insurance Registrations – 376 people

In addition to medical services, the camp also assisted people in registering for various Central Government welfare schemes such as eShram, Jan Dhan bank accounts, Ujjwala free LPG connection, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, crop insurance, and more — ensuring that the benefits of Modi Government schemes reach the grassroots.

This camp stood out for providing both quality healthcare and direct access to welfare benefits free of cost to the public.

Speaking at the event, District President Shri Ananthan Ayyasamy said:

“Service is our identity, and people’s welfare is our mission. Through these Free Modi Welfare Camps, BJP is continuously reaching every remote village to ensure that no one is left behind. We will be taking this initiative to all 230-plus panchayats across Tenkasi district so that every household benefits.”

The camp was conducted with the support of the Red Cross Society medical team. Among those who participated were BJP District Vice President Adv. Ramkumar, District Secretary Shanmugaraj, Union President Siva, Manikandan, Murugesan, Velsamy, as well as other district and union administrators, branch presidents, village representatives, and a large gathering of the public who benefitted from the program.
