The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Board of Studies (Operations), organised AAZHI – Waves of Wisdom, Pearls of Knowledge, the National Conference for CA Students 2025, on 15–16 November 2025 at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai. The two-day conference brought together 1,100 CA students from across the country, reflecting ICAI’s focus on strengthening academic exposure, peer learning, and holistic student development. The initiative aims to equip young aspirants with enhanced communication skills, ethical grounding, leadership qualities, and industry-readiness.
The conference opened with insights on the importance of discipline, networking, and continuous learning in shaping future Chartered Accountants. Sessions also highlighted India’s rapid digital transformation and the growing need for professionals who can adapt to emerging technologies, particularly AI-driven tools and analytics.
The first day of the conference featured ICAI’s first National Hackathon, where student teams worked on real-world audit-automation challenges. The platform encouraged innovation, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. Cultural performances in the evening showcased student talent and added vibrancy to the event. The second day featured technical sessions and panel discussions covering emerging developments in finance, taxation, audit innovation, governance, and technology-enabled transformation. The newly introduced ICAI Moot Court offered students hands-on experience in advocacy, structured argumentation, and legal interpretation, making it one of the most impactful additions to this year’s conference.
The event concluded with cultural showcases, reaffirming ICAI’s commitment to nurturing confident, ethical, and future-ready professionals equipped to contribute effectively to India’s economic progress.
